 Mobile Automatic AERONET Oceanic Observation  

In the frame of ACTRIS and AGORA-Lab Research & Development activities and with the supports from NASA, ESA and CNES, a new observational component of AERONET over the ocean is now providing automatic sun/moon/sky CE318T photometers data and products. These new component is complementing the MAN network providing manual daytime AOD data. Since 2017, the CE318TM instruments have been deployed periodically, in the frame of various scientific campaigns, on research vessels to monitor aerosol properties. Since 2021, a first permanently operated instrument, is onboard the Marion-Dufresne in the frame of MAP-IO programme.
